Chapter 22: In this chapter pip ask Herbert to help him learn how to be a gentlemen. After they had their dinner they both agreed to live together. Herbert corrects pips poor table manners and he gives him a nickname called Handel and tells him the whole story of miss Havisham. When she was young, her family fortune was misused by her uncontrollable half brother, and she fell in love and agreed to marry a man from a lower social class than her. The man convinced her to buy her half brothers share of the family Brewery, which he wanted to sell for a huge price. But on there wedding day, the man never showed up instead sending a note which Miss Havisham received at twenty minutes to nine the time at which she stopped all her clocks. Miss Harvisham lover was in the same league as her half brother and they split the profit from the brewery sale. Some point later Miss Harvisham adopted Estella.
