Creative Writing Now And Then!

beach

Summer as a Child– Summer as a child was very exiting for me as  i had many things to do everyday and never get bored wishing it would never end for example racing on bikes around the park and block with people from my primary school and estate or playing football all day at Lilian Baylis or the cage in the boiling hot sun. I also went swimming at Brixton rec or in Victoria with family and friends to cool down and have fun. A few weeks later i went to Southend Beach to relax on the sand and cool of in the water. And this is fun for any child in the summer as your active every day enjoying new things and what you already do. Overall summer as a child is Fantastic!!

Summer as a Teenager– Summer has really changed for me since i have got older now that i am 15 i don’t have much to do and it is really boring and it also feels like it is going on forever with longer days just staying at home feeling hot. Apart from going to Shaydon’s house with all my friends to chill, play PlayStation 4 and go to the youth club to play table tennis and pool. I would also occasionally go go-karting or paint-balling with more of my friends as a day of to have fun and let of some steam.Lastly i went Thorpe park which was enjoyable as i went on all the scary rides. Overall summer as a teenager can be both boring and fun!!

Pip then goes on to encounter Bentley Drummle where the two to talk to each other in a very unpleasant and sarcastic way “Pretending to read a smeary newspaper long out of date”, this quote supports the fact that the two were talking to each other in a very sarcastic manner as Pip pretended to read a newspaper just so he can ignore Drummle. Pip expresses the way in which Drummle reminded him of the way Orlick looks “as Drummle leaned down from the saddle and lighted his cigar and laughed, with a jerk of his head towards the coffee-room windows, the slouching shoulders and ragged hair of this man, whose back was towards me, reminded me of Orlick.” This quote supports the fact that Drummle in Pip’s eyes reminded him of Orlick. Pip then visits Satis house at the end of the chapter.

Chapter 44: In this chapter Miss Havisham tells Pip that she let him believe that she was his benefactor. Miss Havisham and Estella get into an argument, the two argue in a very sarcastic manner where Miss Havisham is disliking the fact that Estella does not love, but she herself taught Estella not to love.
